INPUT SHAFT

Wobbly input shaft, is it replaceable? t56...I keep going through throw-out bearings after 2 or 3 days of driving.

Yes it's replaceable. I know terminator guys sometimes sell theirs after upgrading to a 25l6 spline input shaft.

Doesnt throwout bearing ride on the bearing retainer sleeve?
Wobbly input shaft would have no effect on TOB, maybe on pilot bearing.
Just putting it out there...

I believe it does, I'm going to do a new clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing, pilot bearing and clutch fork and see if that's it, if not time to get into the transmission and change the input shaft

Most premature TOB failures i have heard of were due to:
1) cheap bearings, stick to the Ford branded ones
2) improper preload on cable, or no preload at all.
Hope it all works out, BTW check that the bearing retainer isnt scored, or damaged, and bearing can slide easily .

I've bought already the Ford TOB and Pilot bearing but the throw out bearing keeps going bad. But hopefully this works.
