Those will look mean on your car!

I'm not sure how the widths run on Nitto tires, but 245's might be a little narrow for 9 inch rims.
Here is what 275 Hoosiers look like on 9 inch wheels.

I have personally had Nitto 555 at a 255 spec on 8" wide rims and they just bulged a little. I would be very leery of 245 Nittos properly fitting on a 9" rim but I could be wrong...

When I bought my car, it had 245s on a 20x9 wheels. It looked like absolute ****. The top of the actual rim was visible, not just the lip bulging out. Don't do 245s... Roll 275s.

Yeah I had a set of rims do that with tires I thought would be just flush but wound up being too narrow. I literally got new rims because I got such a good deal on those tires vs rolling around looking like one of those stupid ricers DDing a car with a million degrees of negative camber and "hella flush" wheels.

The G2 doesn't seem to run as narrow as the previous 555s did. I probably still would have gone a bit wider up front. But looks good.

Looks really good and those 245s look like they fit fine to me. If the whole lip was coming out of course that would look dumb but it looks flush to me. And youre right the staggered looks better when there is more of a definite change in width in the rear.

Put up some side shots of it! Want to see how it looks with the lowering springs you installed recently.

Nice, man. Will sure up the ride quite a bit, the Koni STR.T shocks, and Tokico HP struts made my 96 feel like night and day coupled with the H&R springs. Like a different car for sure, feel much more confident in it at all times as far as predictability and the way it handles.

Are you experiencing any issues with the ride and lowering springs now with the stockers? Just wondering. My 03 has the equivalent to like a KYB setup that is new, less than 1k miles anyway, that the PO had installed. They are basically the top end Monroe shocks and struts from what I have researched. With the SR springs I think I will be ok for 8 or 10k miles before they are shot from lowering it 1.5"s, that is like 3 years or so of driving it for me anyway.

I dont mind firmer, just dont want it to be awful or feel unsafe or something. When I have done this in the past I also installed new heavier duty dampners as well so never felt a stock like dampner set up with lowering springs, allbeit they are new on mine.
