18x9 wheels

Would 285/35/18 fit fine? Plan to get wide tires out back.

Depending on the brand some will fit better than others. I've got 285/40R18 Nitto 555s on mine and they have a bit of a bulge to them.

On my 20x9 Foose wheels, I run Micky Thompson 275/35/20s, where the tire width seamlessly lines up with the wheel width - a perfect match in my opinion. 275 is the recommended size for 9 inch wide wheels, at least from my research.

275s will likely look better, as there will be zero bulging issues. And you will likely not have any level of performance increase with 285s over 275s.

Is it possible to tell what brand wheels they are? Looking for center caps. They don't look like from AM.

Get a can of Never Dull (one can lasts a lifetime). It works great and it is a metal cleaner, clean off grime, corrosion, surface rust, etc. Cant use it all the time, but you wont have to, use it, then clean them cause it leaves a slight oily haze, then clean them regularly when you wash and it will be good to go. I cleaned my tips with it on the 03 and they turned out well had oxidation and surface rust, they look new now.

I use Never Dull. Less than 10 bucks a can, and works amazingly. Keeps my SLP tips looking great. Can get it at most auto stores and Walmart.

Find out if that is a bare metal lip or if it is clear coated. My black Bullitts are clear coated with a clear coated lip. So a metal polish won't work on my lips. Test out small spots first

When I bought my 2001 Saleen the previous owner had 305s on the rear with the 18×10" Saleen wheels...it rode fine and looked sweet as hell!
