Exhaust tips?

Hey guys! My current exhaust tips are rusty and damaged. Not to mention very small. Looking to get a new set of exhaust tips, wondering what everyone has? I have my eye on a set of dyno max double walled 4inch outlet tips, wondering what a good outlet size would be? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks!

Here's 4" next to 3.5" I'm a big fan of the 4" personally. SLP makes a very nice looking double walled tip. Something I don't like is when the tip is only a couple inches long because you can see where it ends before it tucks back under the bumper (when looking at it from the side) but I'm picky

Magnaflow makes a nice 3" or 3.5" tip as well, about $45 each approx. Probably the ones I will go with and their plenty long enough where you wont see the side of the exhaust pipe.

3.5" and cheaper now than they were! I love Magnaflow products. Being 12" long is good too, no issues on length (thats what she said)

I would not worry about a brand on tips...3.5" diameter fill the bumper cutouts pretty good, but 4" diameter fill a little more. I would go stainless(will never rust and is not as gaudy as chrome). I would also recommend getting 18" long tips for a nice rumble. You could go for 20" long if you want the tips to stick out from the bumper a little bit. It's just a personal preference on the cut style. I personally have 3.5"X18" 45° slash cut tips and love them

Who would win in a fight, SLP tips or Magnaflow tips? My money is on Magnaflow even being 3.5", jk, jk.

All personal preference of course.

Should be the link to the Magnaflow tips here on LMR. I like them, may go 12" though, I dont want them sticking out too far from the bumper cut outs or maybe 1/2"-3/4" past. I know Magnaflow makes a 12" also, just have to find it, prob a little cheaper too. I will have to measure where 18" ones would be before I pulled the trigger. But I will be getting a set of these in one of the lengths either 12" or 18" when I order and get my off road pipe installed.

18" tips are short enough to be flush or stick out a little bit...18" is the perfect size to fit our cars

My 4 inch tips, they are truck tips about 14" long so you can't see the end, I've actually got them an are selling them I dumped my exhaust so it's the tips and the loop over the axles

Is there a way to just keep the tips out by the bumper cutouts but cut the pipes and install turndowns so that it looks like you still have the full catback?

For a stock catback do we use 2.5 or 2.25 inlet for the tips?

I beleive without looking it up you use the 2.5 tip, and the pipe is 2.25 so the tip will fit over it to be clamped or welded on. Most are welded that are any good or look good. Or you can use one that is 2.25 or vice versa and weld it on too with no overlap.
