Finally back!

As some of you may remember I converted my GT front end to a roush last June, then four days later totaled the front end. Being a broke a** college kid I was pretty much tapped out to fix it. Finally got everything replaced motor wise and re did the entire front end, within the past few months I got enough money to do the front end body parts the way I wanted as well with a 3" cowl hood, smoked raxiom headlights and an 03/04 cobra front bumper. (All from AM so big shoutout to them), yesterday I put all new accel coils in (AM as well) and putting my H pipe on tomorrow. Finally have my car the way I want (with a few little things here and there I need) so here's a pic of what she looks like almost finished. Let me know your guys thoughts . Great to be back guys!

Thanks recon! Also, what's your take on the pi intake manifolds?? I haven't narrowed it down to that yet but if so I found someone selling one. Didn't know if it was a good brand or not.

Like the OEM FRPP PI intake? They are actually good flowing intakes which I think are good flow wise to about 500 hp or so. Dorman makes one too that looks similar if you arent paying attention but its junk from what the reviews state. It doesnt flow as well and you lose some power using it (heard that you lose power and also heard that its the same). Anyway just get a Ford Racing PI intake from AM or LMR to be safe, dont save that much with the Dorman anyway.

Car looks good, man, welcome back!!

It doesn't say the brand, guy just said pi intake so I'll have to see the brand. Hopefully it's not a junk brand then because he's asking a 100 which would be nice to save the money lol

It's not a good idea to buy.a used plastic manifold. Every one of them will fail sooner than later, so you are better off purchasing a new one. Unless, of course, the seller can prove to you that the manifold was purchased and installed very recently.

What are your thoughts on the edelbrock intake?? I wanted to get it from the start but don't have the money at the moment. I was just gonna purchase the used one to get me by for now.

I would personally stick with the factory manifold on a stock engine, street driven car. They are lighter than the aluminum manifolds, and they don't heat sink like aluminum does.
The Edelbrock manifold works a little better in the upper RPM range, but it loses some power at lower RPM's, where much of your day to day street driving is done.

Just remember, buying them used can be risky...

I wouldn't. They all warp under the tstat housing eventually and its a time thing, not miles. That 39k Marquis motor I had had an intake with the warping right there under the tstat if that tells you anything.

Well damn.. Looks like I might have to get a new one. I drove my car to work and back today and across town and back and there wasn't any coolant or anything wet around the coils. So I'm not sure where it's coming from yet.

From AM, not sure which brand they use. I spent 10-15 hours on it getting it "perfect" lol. Tons and tons of block sanding.
