You should be ok with a catback setup.

The S550 body is definitely something that takes getting used to and grows on you.

I got my performance pack 2016 GT for 31,500 before tax, title, and license.

How'd you get it so cheap?

It had a big discount. Was the only one at the dealership with $4,000 off. I think that's the only reason I was able to finance it. And it just so happened to be a 5.0 with manual trans and performance pack. Being Guard Green and having backup sensors was just an added bonus.

Definitely loving the car man. The base model s550s are just as nice as the Premium S197s.

The seat quality and feel is on pair with most basic racing seats. They have bigger bolsters on the sides that hold you into place. The cloth feels a lot better then the previous years.

You get an lcd in the cluster on the base models now.

You get Push Start. Your keyfob, as long as it's on you, allows you to just open the door and trunk without ever pulling it out to press a button.

Bluetooth and Sync is standard now. As well as both seats being powered. Auto headlamps and fogs are standard on the GT. On the S197, you needed to get a Premium or Tech Package to get those features.

Cup holders are slightly moved over. If i have my cup in the cup holder closest to the backseat, it has 0 effect on my shifting room.

Backup camera is also standard now.

The interior in general is just worlds better.

If you get a Premium, then that is just sex to the eyes. I am 100% happy with my base model though.

The thing I was concerned with was the Performance Pack. Cuz I had Brembos, 3.73s, and 19s on my 2014 v6 I traded in. So I got most of it back. You also get a nice bigger chin splitter on the Performance Pack.

Here are some picks of my car.

As well as a....collage of my 2014 I traded. Lol

Here is a watered down version of my Window Sticker.

Do you have a web link to the GT you were looking at?

Take that offer in writing and tell them you have to think about it. Then take it to a competing Ford dealership and ask if they can do better.

Great idea Slater! I never take the first offer, I always act unimpressed even if its reasonable. Dont want to drag it out too long but telling them you appreciate the offer and you will consider it and have a couple more places to hit. When you tell them this they are smart enough to know what youre doing but also know there is a chance you wont come back or go somewhere else. I usually let it ride 1 or 2 days, usually by the end of the first day they are calling you up. Even if its only $500 that will still knock your payment down some.

My GT is a 2016.

Does this dealership have a website where the GT you are looking at is? So we can see it.
