Shifter knobs?

I'm picking up my shift boot and bezel for my 03 GT, but my factory shift knobs bugs the hell out of me. The threads on the factory knobs irritates my hand.

What knob do you have? I need to make up my mind by tomorrow.

I have the Ford Racing shift knob when, but I held onto my factory Bullitt knob. I much prefer the Ford Racing knob over the Bullitt knob though since it's more of a pistol grip. The FR knob does have the external threads like stock though.

MGW pool ball style. I hate the stock knobs, they don't lock into place 100%. The MGW or a similar style one has a locknut and that thing is solid.

Consider getting a Redline boot or finding an OEM Cobra boot as well. The GT vinyl/pleather one looks like *** in comparison.

See I like that. That's the knob I want. But DaSilva (my local mustang tuner) only had the cobra 6 speed version. It could be ordered but I didn't at the time. But now I know what it looks like so I will. Thanks.

But the cue ball knob does look cool. Someone told me he has five different cue knobs that he interchanges when he feels like.

Since DaSilva only carries the cue ball knobs, that what I will get for now. I'll post pics later.

I had the Ford Racing knob on my last one. I liked it. Looked good, and was solid, never had any issues.

I have a few others that the last owner gave me with the car. A ford racing black shift knob and a hurst with a steeda triax handle.

I just to the Hurst knob with the MGW shifter, it feels better you don t have to extend your arm as much.

I've got a custom azure blue steel knob from a dude on IG. I like it because it's a bit heavier than those composite knobs and it feels good shifting. It looks awesome too lol. I bought a fancy jam but from MGW to tighten it up. In case someone asks, I'm running the comfort shift handle with my MGW.

I definitely recommend AmericanMuscle.com

I bought my shift knob pretty cheap off of AmericanMuscle.com and it is 100 times better than the stock one. It gets a little hot after sitting out in the sun all day but it feels so much better when shifting! they have many different styles to choose from too!
