Man, you are on everyones case about lowering, lol. Some dont like it though, I do think it makes them look better obviously but some like the stock height for drivability reasons. Now if he had posted "should I lower it", or "how low should I go?" Or whatever then maybe give him a little razzing. Not trying to be defensive for him, just dont love it when someone posts their pride and joy and members say something negative about it. I dont like vanity plates whatsoever but I do find them clever at times, Im not going to make fun of his car though.

I gotcha, that would make sense, ha! Im not mad, or even think your post was that bad but some on here are, and its unsettling at times. Everyone has an opinion of course thats mostly the point of these forums. I didnt care when you poked at mine since it was getting the springs anyway at some point and I hate it when it looks all jacked! Or maybe Im just sensative tonight or that time of the month lol. Or maybe I have a superhero complex cause I took my son to the new Avengers movie tonight (I think thats it)

I get it. They all look a ton better lowered to me. I wish Ford would have made them just 1"-1.25" lower factory. Its not a lot but it makes a big diff in looks to most. Like my wife, she doesnt know or pay attention to things I talk about when I talk car stuff, but when my 96 suspension was done, she said a couple times, wow yours looks better than that one or something to that effect. But she didnt know why when I asked why she thought that? Then I told her, its the same car, in one case the same color, wheels, but remember when I spent all that money you thought was useless for parts that werent broke yet? Then she got it. When I got this one, she asked me when we were gonna lower it, and that I should do that first thing and order the parts, lol.

I would give up my house, dog, cat, 2 Mustangs, new truck, sex, for your 2012 Boss. I saw you say that you were thinking of trading it in on a 2016 model, and my heart sank, and I shed a tear(s). Im glad you didnt. The 2015/16s are growing on me though. I love the white, lowered of course, with some kind of concave style staggered wheels, just look so damn sleek and sexy.

Yeah I can't do it. I didn't enjoy the 2016 as much great car but I love my Boss more. There is this rawness to it that makes it a fun car to drive. The thrill of throwing around a well balanced solid axle vehicle is awesome.

I cant even imagine driving a car like that around. It would never get old to me. Maybe you should keep the Boss, and your 2 other Mustangs, and get a 2017??? You know you want to...

Specialty license plate

I'm going to keep it getting ready to pay it off and then I'm just going to wait until the new Mach 1 comes out. I got rid of my 08 I felt bad for it sitting there sold it to someone who could appreciate it more. So now I have 2 and the deck is clear for another payment.

It will look killer, especially with the wide rears on it. What set up were you thinking of going with?

I haven't really looked into a specific kit, might just cut them down and get some cc plates

You can cut them but it may make for a bumpy ride with cut stock springs. I would at least go with something like the SR springs from American Muscle, you can get them for around $150 shipped with the forum 6% discount. Just had them put on my 03 and they look good, good amount of drop leaving the isos out. That way you have a spring that is made to be a lowering spring instead of cut ones. If your gonna spend some coin on CC plates may as well get a cheap decent set of springs too.

Good to see you back in a Mustang! Congrats! I'm glad Indiana finally got their crap sorted out with the specialty license plates. Can believe it took them that long.

I had "FRD PWR" on my car when I lived in Iowa a couple years ago.
