Another Michigander! We should really try to organize a MEVO meet up at some point this summer! See if we can get a bunch of us on here to meet up down on Woodward one weekend evening or somehwere else thats convenient to everyone. It would be fun to meet up, check out each others cars, then cruise!

Still loving your wheel choice. The black wheels with the blue makes it look "sinister" to me.

Thanks! If I'm being honest I'm just not afraid of trying something a little different from the norm. As far as appearance goes. I do miss that Vette though, I will be getting another one at some point. My buddy finally let me drive his C7 and it reminded me how fun they are.

You have to post pics when done. I hope you like your springs as much as I like mine so far. Also did you decide on isos or no isos?

I m think I m gonna stick with the isolators, I was reading on google that if you go pass 1.5" you would somtimes need castor camber plates and also a bumper steer kit to get the car properply aligned and they seem to be still in good condition the way its looking.

It was early Feb and thought I could make it through the rest of winter without any big storms, I was wrong! Had at least 4 snow falls of 4" or more and each time I was at work so I had no choice. Had summer tires on it too, that fall before got new wheels and summer performance tires, it was awful. But I did drive a Z28 through 3 winters and always made it, had good snow tires in the back for winter and skinnier fronts. It was fun at times but always stressful to me! Lol. But I commend you on your dedication to driving it yr round! Good job sir!

Do you run snow tires in the winter? I assume or a real good all season tire? I was contemplating a few years ago on getting a 2011 (Coyote of some yr), and it would have to be my primary car for at least 1 or 2 winters until I could buy a $7-$8k good DD for those months, but I chickened out and got a car that ended up not being a whole ton better in the end. Need a time machine!

Well I have to drive it year round mostly because we can only have two cars right now!.. We are renting a house and have no room for a 3rd vehicle!.. 😏 As far as tires, I run Toyo Proxies on all fours!.. So ya, not exactly a winter friendly tire!.. Lol. But surprisingly does really good in the snow!..

Fri/ Sat evenings and nights down there are awesome this time of the year, better than the couple weeks before the cruise even because its not as congested and more laid back. Actually saw some cars take quick trips to Mexico between lights. Police do end up shutting it down around 10p and try to make people leave but they dont have the numbers like they do the weeks of the actual cruise. Anyway let me know if you head down Id love to see your Mustang in person.

We have pollen season is GA. Snow is rare. When snow is predicted, or even imagined, bread, milk, and eggs disappear from the grocery store shelves. IF the fluffy white precipitation falls "normally 1/4", and sometimes 2" of snow accumulates. Within a day the fun is gone.

I don't know if it is a lack of road prep, or bad drivers, but when things dry up the ditches are normally decorated with an assortment of cars.

During the last good ice storm we had I drove around in my Jeep and the Ram to help drag people back onto the asphalt.

I had Toyo Proxes Plus 4s on my last DD and they were really good in the snow. Replaced the still at least 70% tread Hankook Optimos that it came with from the factory cause they were awful in the winter.

I have always run Toyo tires on my truck. It is time for tires on the Mustang, and I am leaning towards Toyos for that. My car is driven gently. It has not seen a track since my ownership. No prolonged aggressive driving either. I baby my old Mustang.

I took one of the bikes out during that. Didn't have to deal with any traffic. Though falling chunks of ice will cause your sphincter to tighten!

Top picture is my car with HnR's and bottom picture is the car with Eibach Pro Kit. What's a difference, it's a somewhat stock ride but a huge boost in handling.
