Did you keep the isolators or you removed them? I kept the stock in back but I kind of want the front to be lower then the back but I m not sure I might leave them on they seem to still be in good condition.

As long as you dont get too drunk, lol. It was unseasonably hot here too today, 93 or something like that. Thats hot for early summer, late srping Mi weather anyway.

I gotcha. I dont drink beer or any alcohol anymore, not that I did all the time anyway but in my younger days, haha. It makes me feel like crap and not want to do anything anymore, like 3 or 4 seem like a good idea then when I have a headache and want to go to bed 2 hrs later it sucks. So I just say NO!

Yea I think we did the fronts were faster then the rear. The rears were giving us trouble aligning the control arms with the shocks bolts. The car now has 49k miles and the bolts were all pretty simple to remove with help of a cheeter bar and sometimes two arms.

I need to drive somewhere open to take some pictures, right the car is cramped in my back yard with not too much space for a side view.

That car looks incredibly clean for 17 years old. Mine has been a Canadian car all it's life and has seen some winters so I can only dream of it looking that good underneath.

I know the last owner mostly kept it garaged but what he told me but now I have to park it outside so it will get alot of sun rain and dust in the engine bay.

Looks lower. Good job on getting it done! Did you measure to see how much of a drop they gave you? Looks to be at least an inch and a qtr or so. Now when you get wheels, 18"s like you mentioned and a little taller tire it will sit really nice.

I didn t measure but if you look at in person you can tell it looks lower, I estimate about that 1.25 to the full 1.5". You can t really tell in the pic but I think it would look sweet with a pair of stagger 18" black wheels.

Thats the first thing I noticed in both of mine, that when getting out the ground was closer than what I was used to. I didnt measure mine before or after. I do know with my very scientific way, I used to be able to fit 4 fingers front and almost 5 in back, in the wheel wells, after the springs the rear is about 3 fingers but real tight, and front is 2 tight. And obviusly I have before pictures. I estimate mine at 1.5" rear, and 1.75" front or a little more closer to 2" with no isos on either.

I remember when I did my lowering springs a few months back. With me and a buddy it took about 5hrs. Basic hand tools. I went with the Ford Racing lowering springs. The drop wasn't too noticeable since I went with new energy suspension isolators. Here is a before and after pic of mine. Before on top. After on bottom.

It does handle a lot better. Between the new springs and rear lower control arms I installed I was able to eliminate the quad shocks and the rear sway bar (weight reduction yo!)

It does handle a lot better. Between the new springs and rear lower control arms I installed I was able to eliminate the quad shocks and the rear sway bar (weight reduction yo!)

I went with the Steeda lower control arms. For the money they work amazing. No more wheel hop and car hooks up good! Also makes for fun burnouts...
