I think I need some 18x10 18x9 black Amr wheels.

A staggered set will really set it off! I like the black gloss saleens on white too and their cheap! At least usually fairly cheap as far as wheels go. Still think the polished MMD 551Cs would look good too, or the matte black ones.

I do like those MMD s in black, would look really good but there a bit pricey. I was also looking at the black saleens and they would be cheaper if I got those from OE wheels.

I like the Saleens. A lot of Mustangs have them but thats because they look good. I like the simplicity of the more spoked designs myself. AMRs are nice but I usually personally like them better on newer Mustangs, they would look really good too though.
I have OE wheels on my 96, their staggered 17x9/ 17x10 anthracite bullits. Ive had them for almost 5 yrs and they have been great! Good quality finish, held up very nice, still look new. They dont see weather, that may be another story but yours will be good too in Cali. For the price they have on their wheels its hard to beat unless AM has a ridiculous sale again

Im with ya man. I hate the way my car looks when parked in a nice flat parking lot. Tons of space between the tires and wheel well lips.
I have so much stuff I wanna do though, the springs get shuffled in the mix. LoL

Its very simple you just need the right tools and help from someone. This was my first time installing lowering springs.

No not yet I m hoping they can align it with the factory castor, I estimate a drop of only 1.25" to the full 1.5" . I think the H&R springs had a drop of 1.5 and 1.75" in the front and the eibachs 1.6" all around but I m pretty happy with the drop I got. I m hoping I can still clear over bumps and side walks really easy lol. Also you can eliminate the isolators if you want even more of drop but I kept on, they were still in good conditon.

I'm pretty sure h&r super sports are the lowest drop of all the springs, I'm considering them myself but mine is my daily so I'm hesitate..
Front-2.00 inches
Rear-1.60 inches
Straight from late model restorations website, as AM doesn't sell them anymore

This. They should be the lowest unless you go with the Tein S Tech lowering springs that advertise 2.5" drop in front and 2" in back I beleive. They also say "keeps stock feel" or something like that, I dont beleive that!

Looks good man!
Have you drag it anywhere you wasn't expecting yet?
I worry about lowering mine because there are some uneven roads around here I drive on and don't wanna rip my front bumper off. LoL

No so far its been good, the only thing to worrry about is the mach chin spoiler when you park making sure you don t hit the curb and I expect the lip to scrape only when a driveway is too high entering but its worth it for the way it looks and handles but its not low enough to where it would cause driving issues.

Thats true it doesn t feel too much different so you don t really sacrfice the ride cause it stills rides smooth but it looks alot better with the lowering springs.

Seriously, get the SR springs, true, they are the ONLY product SR makes that is worth a damn! I got them because I really couldnt find anything negative about them, now after having them on for about a month Im happy with them for sure. Get enough drop for DDing and still be ok, ride does feel like stock, and if you want a little more drop then leave the isos out like I did. For the money I dont know if they can be beat.

If it is in good shape not a bad price, I took my 2000 GT to the shop a years ago (2002) and had Flow Master Cat back exhaust installed and it was $400 then. So seems like a fair price if you like them! Can you install them or going to have a shop do it?
