Figured I'd start a thread for modding my Mustang. She's pretty much a clean slate and I'm all about personalizing my ride.
First thing, one of my fog lights was out, so I upgraded to LED. Fog lights aint worth squat on these cars anyway, but at least its a nice white light now instead of the dingy yellow stock bulbs.
Blacked out the bumper lettering:
I love the leather seats, but man they make me sweat...lol... and I want to keep them nice, so some seat covers:
More mods coming soon. Cosmetics first, then engine/drivetrain.(tuner, TB, intake, gears, etc.)
Looks good. The white does look cool and its a cheap mod. The led fogs you installed, do those need an adapter like the other kits you see on other sites? If not thats super cheap compared to other for around $100 bucks?! Does this same company make led headlights too?

Ive also found that the factory Mach system (I have the 460 is all) actually sounds ok, its somewhat on par with systems in newer cars. For example it sounds almost as good as my 16 Silverado, not that my truck is the benchmark for audiophiles, but in comparison for my 13 yr old stock sound system to sound current at all is a win and good enough for me. I love good sounding systems, not just bass rattleimg my butt hole, but actual systems that are balanced, fill the cabin, etc, just have other things I want to spend money on right now.

As far as engine bolt ons I went with BBK...they have a 73mm and 78mm Throttle Intake, CAI Intake, MAF Sensor and even a TPS...from there the BBK Long Tubes can be matched to the BBK Off Road X-Pipe and any Cat-Back system. An SCT Eliminator Chip (www.sct.com) is a good choice since it holds multiple tunes and can be switched on the fly.

Yeah those seat covers look like they fit well! I tried a different pair a while ago and my 270lb brother ripped the hell out of the passenger side as soon as he slid into the car! Ha ha ha!!! I will be doing the leather repair and reconditioning myself when I get back home. I have a few small pips in the driver seat and that usual rash on the bolsters...the back seats are mint since they are useless since I am 6'6"! I will try this kit out!!! Will be sure to post before and after pics in a thread!
Its definitely looking good, not too over the top or anything. Tasteful. Except Mustangs are Decepticons not Autobots lol.
As far as headlights, the AM replicas are actually DEPOs AFIAK and DEPOs are very good aftermarket replacement lights. Not your average garbage crap from ebay or wherever. I really wish they would do a dual bulb setup for the 99-04 cars like they do for the 94-98 cars. I had their dual halogen projector setup on my 98 and it was really nice looking. Not at all like the ricey looking Raxiom stuff... Anyway, bulb wise get some Philips Xtreme Vision bulbs and call it a day. They'll put out the most lumens of all the halogens but won't be pure white so ppl think they are not the best. Truth is, any bulb with a blue film over the whole thing is going to put out less overall light than a clear bulb (looking at you Silverstars).
There is always the HID retrofit route if you can find a good setup. I work with a guy who does them for $175 and then more if you want demon eyes or crazy ****. That is with you supplying the parts which he won't do if they are junk ones. Basically says "morimoto or gtfo".
Haha. Yeah. You should see my daughters Mustang. It's total Autobot. Thanks for the headlight advice. I'm on the fence about just sticking some bi-xenon HID's in there. I know about the scatter but damn these headlights suck. Lol

Plz don't put a PnP HID in a halogen housing... Seriously, get some replacement headlights and a set of the Philips bulbs. I think you'll be surprised how well you can see. Obviously the smoked covers are not helping...
If you don't mind me asking how did you get the seat covers to fit so tight? Every time I try putting so on they end up sagging after a couple hours no matter what I do.

I have considered painting the center black on my hood. I wonder what it would look like if I faded a matte clear that changed to gloss at the front. Possibly have the edges of the black in gloss as well.
I can see it in my mind, I may have to break out the sketch pad and a few mock panels to test the appearance of the effect.
