Aux Cord

I got my mustang about 3 years ago now. The CD player worked for awhile and for the past year or so I've just been listening to the radio or none at all. I was searching online to get a Aux adapter and PIE does not make them any more.

However, there is one on AM that is supposed to work.

Here is the real problem. It gets rid of the radio which I'm not a huge fan of but I have spotify which is why I want an Aux cord.

Also, do the Mach 1000 and Mach 460 have the same connectors? It says all but I am not sure how it could fit every radio from 86-06

What I did was get one of those FM transmitter things off Amazon for like $11. It's really just a hold over until I can buy the Raxiom head unit, but it works pretty well, especially for only $11. It's not perfect by any means, you'll get a little static at high volumes in between songs and at quiet parts in the songs, but it's what I would advise you to do if you're looking to eventually upgrade your head unit.

I'm really not trying to get a new head unit. I like how it looks stock. That is my only reasoning for trying to find something to hook up like this. If the time has passed for me to get an aux cord I will just listen to the radio like I have been. Just getting a new internship I have commutes of 30-40 min each way. Id rather have one

The factory head unit in my mustang had jammed cd in it. So it was the first mod I made. Got a pioneer DVD Bluetooth head unit now. Works awesome. I mostly stream music off my phone anyways. Most of the time I just like to listen to my motor.

Seems like a decent solution.

Yeah. I have 5 CDs jammed in mine (). I used to be able to open the slot to get them out but haven't tried getting them out lately. I just like how it looks and rather not have to put a new head unit in since it is a Mach 1000 and I'd rather keep it stock.

Not sure how much money that you want to spend but you can go on eBay and buy a 7" Double Din radio with touch screen, GPS, DVD player and built in Wifi and Android technology...you will have your Spotify and free up your phone.
