1999-2004 Engine Dress Up (Show Me Some Pics)

My girls have compared my car, guns, and guitars to Barbie Dolls. I am always changing things, tearing them apart, and basically undressing and dressing them.

It is no secret that the SN95 Mustangs have a cluttered and unsightly (in my opinion) engine bay. I am sure some of you have cleaned things up under the hood and added and replaced a few parts to make things look better under the hood.

What have you done with your engine bay?

...and don't forget the pics.

You need to set your girls straight, and make them understand, in no uncertain terms, that you are NOT playing with Barbie dolls, and everything that you are doing is all CRITICAL MAN STUFF!!! :p

I have done absolutely nothing. The 01 Bullitt engine is a masterpiece, straight from the factory.

Gas pedal is stiffer and I felt more power in the upper rpm range.

You guys think a plastic intake has a better advantage over metal in tubing. Mine came with the car but personally I would prefer one that has the air filter on top like Airraid or a K&N

It's unfortunate that there is so much stuff crammed under the hood that it isn't worth chroming serpentine accessories, adding custom milled valve covers, etc.

If I was to invest in forced induction of would likely be a supercharger. There is just something undeniable about the whine of a roots style supercharger that grabs everyone's attention.
