Use the set screw / Allen screw at the bottom for your gauge...

A real world numerical pressure gauge is not a bad idea. It would also be nice to know the actual engine temp.

The thing is is that the pressure sensor that came with the gauge is smaller than the sensor on the car. As in it looks like it won't screw in. I'm routing it to my dash wanting to screw it on top of the 2 middle air vents

Lowe's sells brass fittings in the plumbing section that will adapt it to what you need.

Should be a 1/4 NPT fitting. Need to verify tho. Run a line off that, T it, put the stock sensor on one end of the T and run the aftermarket sensor off the other T. That way you don't have a dead gauge and also you have a backup in case the aftermarket one fails you can still verify you have at least 6 psi

Leave the stock pressure sensor alone and use the plug off the bottom shown in the pic. Same results with no "T", and looks stock.

I would suggest changing the oil, and while the engine and pan is empty you should only get a drop or two.

I used a "T" on my 14 3.7, installed after sat overnite. Just a couple of drops came out. I also used teflon tape on threads also. No leaks.
Thank you for the info in the allen screw. Was not aware it could be used. If my Autometer sending unit will fit, I'll eleminate my "T".

You need to go to Lowe's and get adapters to step down from the hole where the Allen screw is to the size of your oil pressure fitting. I said that in a previous post...
