99-04 GT or Cobra brakes on a Sn95

Has anyone done this conversion and what all do you need to make this happen?

For front Cobra brakes all you need is the calipers, pads, rotors, and mounting brackets. Plenty of places sell used pulloffs for $300- $400 l. You may need a Cobra master cylinder depending on the year of your car.

99-04 GT brakes are dual piston but not a bigger rotor like the Cobras. To do the front brakes you need the calipers and caliper brackets. And obviously rotors and pads.

For the rears the 99-04 GT is the same as any 94-98 GT. To upgrade to the Cobras you need to pull the axles, change the caliper bracket mount and then you re-use the calipers with Cobra caliper brackets and the correct Cobra rotors and thinner Cobra specific pads since the rotor is now vented and fatter.

It is a big difference, I would not waste my time with the 99-04 GT front brakes. The difference between the 94-98 GT and the 99-04 GT is marginal. Going to the full 94-04 Cobra/Bullitt/Mach setup is a very big difference in braking.

Do I need to change the hub assembly or spindle for the front brakes? Going from 95 GT brakes to 95 cobra

No. They're all the same. You need the Cobra caliper bracket, caliper, rotor and pads. That's it. And 17" rims or better.

They're not the same but the GT master cylinder works fine.

Would the cobra master cylinder bolt right up? including brake lines? I'll be tracking the car so idk if the GT master cylinder would still be good for that if it is that a bonus, just curious what I would run into if I swapped master cylinders

I believe that the only difference between master cylinders has to do with whether or not the car is equipped with ABS/Traction control
And I think that my Bullitt, which came with Cobra brakes, has a Cobra ABS pump module.
I don't think that there will be any difference in the braking performance using the Cobra calipers/rotors with the existing GT brake plumbing.
