super 44 vs super 10 vs original 40

I need an exhaust and I like loud deep rumbles but I hate inside drone. I want to clearly be able to hear the exhaust inside my convertible but not so loud that my neighbors hate me lol. What do you think is best. I'm leaning towards super 44

Hate drone? Flowmasters aren't for you. Look into Borla or Magnaflow.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.

Definitely don't do flow master if you hate drone. My Super 44s drone like a mother. Super 10 would be worse.

Combined with an off road H pipe they are fairly loud. I'm around a lot of cars that are much louder than mine so it feels quiet to me. But it can be heard from a ways away.

I have BBK longtubes along with their off road x pipe, and magnaflow magnapacks. It sounds amazing, and no drone whatsoever.

I did loud mouths with an OR midpipe. Worst choice I ever made. Popped in to flow original 40's and it's perfect now. I've always heard people associating Flowmaster with drone. I personally have run flow 10's, original 40's, and super 40's, all on catless setups, with no drone. And my current ride is a vert, still barely audible in the car while on the highway.

Agreed , o/r h with 44s isn't going to be very loud if you're used to being around louder cars.

But it does sound really good deep and rumbles

You have to or have a tuner to turn off the rear 02's

I've ridden in your car. It almost sounds stock inside.

I still have cats & oe headers, no off-road x either, just Bassani axle backs and they are loud and deep enough for my taste. I can control what little drone they may have as well with my right foot.

I've seen so many of those fail. Stick to a tune to turn off the O2s.

I installed Flow master 40's this morning. Pretty nice Rumble. Not real loud but loud enough. I don't hear much drone at all & don't have to turn my radio up any louder than I did with the stock set up. They're a good bang for the buck. Way better than stock for sure. I'm happy with them.
The guy I bought these from just did a complete MBRP Race Exhaust set up. That was on a 2012 & it sounds great. I'm thinking about doing the same as you can't beat the pricing on it. His was all 3" pipe & H-Pipe with cats. I was impressed with the nice rumble that car has.

I have original 40's and recently removed the rear two CATs and have noticed less drone...unfortunately it is illegal to not properly replace the CATs, but yeah the CATs seem to cause the drone

Cats also clog and destroy engines.
