I have a 2002 Mustang
GT. I have a power steering leak. It isn't a very bad leak. I have to top it off once a week, uses about a quart a month. From looking under the car, the only place I can find that could be a leak is where the steering shaft connects to the rack. I do not have the rubber (plastic?) piece that I highlighted in the pictures. The fluid pools up in that spot and drips/runs down. That is the only spot I have been able to find a leak at. I can't seem to find this part or even the name of it anywhere. I am assuming that is the culprit.
I have filled it with power steering fluid, automatic transmission fluid, and also used No Leak power steering stop leak. The No Leak drastically cut down the fluid loss but I guess it has ran through now and the leak is back to how it was before.
