Interior Repair

This past winter/spring I had mice get into my car really bad while it was in storage. I've got it completely stripped out inside from the trunk to the dash now and am going to redo the carpet and interior. Does anyone have any suggestions for anything else I should do while I've got it gutted inside?

This would also be a good time to refresh the plastic, vinyl, leather, etc with a good spray dye. You could change the color completely if you want, or just add accents to the refreshed interior.

White faced gauges look good in the New Edge cars.

Don't forget to inspect every inch of wiring for damage before covering it back up.

...and sound proofing / dampening is always a good idea in these cars.

Did they eat up your wire harness too? I'd check into that if you haven't. It'd be cool if you could do a roll cage while it's all stripped clean. Not sure if you need that lol, but still cool .

From what I've been able to see, they stayed away from the wiring. They mostly got into the backing on the carpet and seemed to like the trunk a lot.
