Supercharger looks damaged

So I needed to change my serpentine belt today. Since I have a vortec supercharger, I needed to remove it in order to put a new belt on.

What I noticed was damage to the impeller as well as a small amount of oil.

There's a chance this could have been there for awhile. Can anyone comment if I have anything to worry about? I'm sure it may affect some hp but I want to be sure it's not a problem to use as is. The bearings are nice and tight and it spins freely.

If there is no play in the shaft, and no cracks in the fins you should be fine. It looks like you sucked something in and chewed it up. How anything reached the impeller is a mystery, but stranger things have happened.

You might want to file some of those burrs off of the impeller blades while you have it removed from the engine.

Thanks guys. What about the oil.. Is that just getting sucked from the bleeder hose on the engine? Anything to worry about?

If your PCV still routes into the intake tube then that is where your oil is coming from. Mine did the same thing.
