What a day

Started the day off like usual headed to work. On the way home some idiot pulled in front of a line of cars and we all hadron hit our brakes. Unfortunately my wheels locked up and I slid. Now I get to find a hood bumper and header panelClick image for larger version

Rechecked rockauto. It's only 160. The reason I skipped it and went with a new gt bumper. I didn't want to spend;

160 bumper
60ish fog lights bracket
140 fog lights
and 383 for the chin spoiler!!

I still may get one down the road. Things are not going nearly as well financially now as they used to be, so some of my projects are getting pushed back. Just did not want to spend almost 400 bucks for a chin spoiler.

Admittedly I sourced the spoiler from AM, so I'm positive it can be found cheaper elsewhere. Or a aftermarket version instead of the FRPP one.

I am also now wondering what the side profile of the New Edge Mustang would look like with a completely smoothed hood (no scoops of any kind). Such an empty and plain look would be unique with a deleted rear spoiler.

I have pictures I'm trying to find of my 03 setup just like that. I looks sleek, but I felt it looked even better once the scoop went on. I'll see if I can find it, I'm sure it was in the original Project Pony build thread.

Eh, ultimately it was a V6 that had way too much money into it. It was fun, but slow. Man did it look good though.

Sorry to hear about the car, some people need to learn how to drive! a cowl induction hood would look great with that new termi bumper

I'm thinking either a 3in cowl or a termi hood

Looking way better now. So sexy and menacing at the same time!

Definitely one of those unfortunate events that became a fortunate one. I am just glad to see, hear and read that you are okay!
