Depending on gears, you may need the tuner before to fix ratio. My installer was at my dealer and they didn't program for 3.55. Had to tune it myself. Made the speedometer think I was doing almost 75 when I was going 55. Forgot to bring the tuner to adjust it, so I had to drive home like that. Good thing I have a kenwood navigation unit so I used that speedometer.

I had three dealers quote me. Two said 900 plus parts another was 1000 plus parts. The one im going with agreed to 540 plus 258 for parts and a 2yr guarantee.

I paid 340 for the labor and EVERYTHING part wise for 255 from American muscle including all fluids.

2002 Mustang GT, Trick Flow plenum and TB, BBK catted x, Flowmaster super 10's, eibach lowering springs, 4.10s

Well that's the price range I was hoping to hear before I started calling around. Hope I can slip cost of fluids in with that. It wasn't discussed so I may have missed out.

Well grab some good differential fluid, pay the extra for the good **** and be done with it..Let me know how it comes out and the car feels. thanks-I'm thinking I may just have them do the axles, bearings and seals while they have it all apart. ( well once I get a confirmed price)...

So is the consensus for new edge stangs, go 4:10 for auto trans, and 3:73 for manual trans?
