Break booster or master cylinder 01 bullitt
I was on the way to work Friday morning when I bumped into a car in front of me after my breaks failed and the pedal went to the floor with not much compression at all, thank goodness I was using the gears to slow me down to begin with which ultimately made it to where there were no damage on either vehicle.
Now I have tried to bleed the breaks first, and barley any fluid comes out of the bleeder valve when the pedal is engaged. so I continued to see if it was like that all the way around which it was, but then I found where the metal break line meets with the break hose to go in to the caliper is leaky a little bit on the metal break line portion of the connection (on drivers front side)
I have gotten a new metal break line and going to replace it this week but also I need to find out weather this problem screams master cylinder or break booster because they are significantly different in prices and im not sure which is the problem if anyone could help me figure this out I would greatly appreciate it!
