If your looking at having some one else/shop writing all your tunes then SCT is the best!.. If your thinking of possibly modifying your tunes yourself I would go with DiabloSport!.. just my opinion!..
I have a Diablosport but going to have to buy a SCT soon so that I can get a dyno tune when I get to the next stage of my build. So check with your local speed shop and see if they have tuner restrictions.
IMO...Pick one of the three tunes they provide, and get it dialed in and stick with it full time. That way you stick with one type of fuel octane and you become really familiar with it, which is great if you happen to go to the track and for knowing if something isn't running right.
Now I can't hardly find 91 octane gas. Lol. We are all 87, 89 and 93 around here. Wonder how the 91 tune would do with 89 gas. Might see if they will write me an 89 tune instead of 91.
If I remember correctly it's sometimes listed as such
87/89
91
93
So their 89 tune and 87 tune are the same.
I run 93 with my 91 performance tune. Rather have an option to put in the 91 if I'm out of town and can't find 93
