I have to pull the drive shaft and replace a leaky trans tail seal. While the drive shaft is out I think I'm going to take the time to paint it Ford Blue. I am also going to spray the rear diff cover, control arms, and maybe the brake calipers.
When I finally pull the trans down to change the bearings I am spraying it Ford Blue also.
The pumpkin and axle tubes will be gloss black.
I am also considering undercoating the bottom of the car to reduce a bit of road noise.
I am also thinking of adding a pair of white LED tubes under the car to act as puddle lights when I hit the unlock button on the remote.
If and when I ever get around to lowering the car, the color of new springs should add a nice contrast.
Sadly the only people to ever see this work will be the guys at the wheel and tire shop.
