It is cheating a bit, but once you settle on the width you want, visit LMR or American Muscle. You will find the exact backspacing needed for a perfect fit in the description of their wheels.
if the offset is wrong, you could have wheels sticking way out from the car or up against the brakes.
As Revvv mentioned, go to one of those and look at the wheels for your car available. it will give you what the offsets and such are and if the ones you have would fit right.

It didn't come through on my phone. On my laptop now I see it. Back seems to tuck in a bit. Not quite as noticeable with the wheel gap, but for sure would be much more noticeable if lowered.
that was day 1 of lowering springs frpp c springs they have settled now. and its right flush. ill take another photo later today
