Despite jkeaton's imaginative diagnosis of the noise, I find it highly unlikely that it is being caused by a "hungry mouse".
These noise questions are very hard to diagnose over the internet. It can be of some help if you can closer pinpoint where the noise seems to be coming from.
Front?
Back?
Underneath the car?
Engine?
Transmission?
Rear end?
i would bet aged fan belt. or something requiring grease. i CANNOT stand noise from my car and will spend days tracking noises... i had one for almost a month sounded like something was vibrating behind my dash. took it all apart to find it was a loose bolt on my firewall
But seriously, you sure it's coming from the back? Just sounds like the belt might be slipping, not a problem, but some belt conditioner could help. Mine squeeks from the rear and front...chirping tire and a slipping belt.
