98 pi swap issues?

Should I be worried? I let a auto fully pi swap my 98 they told me give them until yesterday an it will be completed I get a call they shop says they need one more day. They have had my car for over 10 days for an engine swap what could be so complicated to not be done by now? I'm trying best to remain patient they gave me a good deal told the 07 pi engine would be ported / polished with painted valve covers all new seals etc! For 800$ I paid upfront.

Sometimes you run into issues. #1 most aggravinting thing is when a customer constantly calls and ask questions.

Yeah I understand that situation. In my situation today I only called one time in the morning because I was told yesterday it would be ready no answer. Called one last time at 4:30pm today makes 2 weeks my car has been gone. I don't mind waiting when being informed at the same time of what's going on.

You should be stopping by from time to time to monitor progress whether they like it or not, you are the CUSTOMER so act like one. Of course be nice until you need to be not so nice. Shops don't like to turn away work no matter how busy so I never believe what they tell me is the completion date, the squeaky wheel gets the grease so get a little squeaky with them and stay on top of it.
