Question about exhaust w/ w/o cats

i have a 03 mustang gt with some mods , i have a borla stinger catback which i dont think is that loud but anyways im planning on buying bbk long tube headers and a bbk xpipe ( i particuarly dont like their x pipe, but im getting such a good deal on both these id be stupid not to get them ) but anyways for those of you that have the full exhaust set up W/O cats , how is the cabin noise? the car is my daily driver and i do have a girlfriend *laughs*. so is the cabin noise still low enough where conversation is still possible while talking comfertably and not yelling?
thanks!

It is significantly louder though. Maybe someone you know that has an off road set up and give you a ride. Or someone on here can post up a video to get somewhat of an idea.

Re: Question about exhaust w/ w/o cats

You may see a slight increase in cabin noise but not enough to keep you from running the headers and o/r x-pipe. I would go for it if it is within your budget and if it is part of your plans for your car.

Well, if the bassani X-pipe is for long tubes, then you will need long tubes. If they are for stock manifolds, then you will need shorties. However, if they are for their mid lengths, then you will need their mid lengths....which is what I am going to be installing on my car shortly.

Re: Question about exhaust w/ w/o cats

That one takes shorties....however you don't have to replace headers for it. You could mount it up to your stock manifolds. If you are going to go with a pipe that requires shorties, save your money and just keep running the stock manifolds. The gains from shorties are minimal at best.

Because that roar won't give you road dome nor give you any at any other point in time either.
