Re: stereo question

I went to best buy. They got me the install kit and harness. It went right together and the factory amps work. They didnt say anything about an interface. The harness has 2 plugs in it. One controls the amps and the other controls the head unit.

Re: stereo question

goes into the new headunit, they send the sound to your amp, they plug in the red and whit plugs on your head unit if they have one, if not then you will need a converter box that cost about $35, all my past headunits has the provisions except 1

Re: stereo question

I found this site today while searching for some help with how to get the stuck CD's out of my Mach system (6 disc changer). My mustang is a 2001 GT convertible that I bought new. I've had a few problems in the past with the CD changer freezing up, but before all I had to do was swipe a credit card in the slot and the CD's could be ejected. I've tried everything and can't get them out. It says all slots are full, but won't eject. I think there are two CD's in it now. Can anyone help?

Re: stereo question

I wouldn't deal with the factory amps, because stock sucks. Always go for the aftermarket.

Re: stereo question

best buy has that cubby holder thing that goes where your cd player used to be for 18 bucks. i bought one not too long ago. i just rewired my whole sound system with pioneer where the factory speakers used to reside and the tweeters too, sounds nice.
