I want new gears for my car, but i can't decide what.

Ok first of all gas mileage really isn't an issue. Since i have 2 jobs i hardly ever go back home. Which is 2 hours away. More than likey i will go back home not ever once a month. 99% of the miles will be intown. My plans for this car is to make it really fast. like 11 or 12 fast. So should i do with 3.73, 3.90, or 4.10s?

at least 4.10s. don't fear the gear. you might even consider 4.30s if you want something for more track.

for a 5 speed you'll likely want 3.73s, that's what everyone seems to tell me. but 4.10s would be ok if you want to accelate more quickly

monkey, i've never even heard of 4.30's on a mustang. wouldn't you have to shift like every half second? lol

not on a GT. They have an 8.8 which has a lot more ratios to choose from.

Plus they have a higher redline and are geared differently. 4.10s are great on a GT.
