crack in intake manifold

theres is a crack were the water coolent flows through in my 4.6 2v efi intake manifold stock.

i tried jb weld and it works till the motor hits top rpm till it starts to cut out onthe govener then it starts to pin hole leak but at lower rpm at 3,ooo it won't leak......what can i do to stop this for i don't have the money for a new intake monifold?

can i run up to walmart or autozone and get that stuff you put in the radiator to stops leaks as it says on package.

or whats yuor idea for a permanent fix to the problem other than replace part.

Re: crack in intake manifold

well plastic intake is hard to doctor up, heat will make the crack worse. u can source a new intake or even a used one for cheap on ebay.

no, its actually more trouble than its worth. id try to clean the area real good and try plastic weld, they have that stuff. if not, u will have to pick an intake up.
