1994 Crown Vic v8 4.6l to 1996 mustang v6

I have a 1994 Crown Victoria with a 4.6 l v8 and I want to swap it into a 1996 v6 mustang I have both vehicles and they run the mustang has a blown head gasket and possibly warped heads it was driven a long way it is steaming out the exhaust and water in the oil. 1 is the 4.6l in the crown vic the same block the 4.6 in the 96' gts are if not how much is involved in the swap I know I need the computer out of the crown vic but what about the transmission do i need to pull it too or will the 4.6l bolt up to the mustang tranny or do i need to just use the whole drivetrain out of the crown. Any help would be appreciated thanxs.
