New to Ford components, need help.

OK I just got my Stang not to long ago as some of you may know. I am used to working on chevy's and foreign crap for my friends so I need info. I got a 98 GT and I want to know if I can swap my heads for some cobra heads, I heard that the cobra 4.6 have dual overhead cams, is it true and can I make the swap, or would it be to much of a pain or not work at all?

I think it can be done, but it would probably be less trouble and expense to just get a Cobra long block, too much stuff would have to be changed out.

the heads won't fit for the 98 gt. The DOHC version has different heads all together i think. If they would fit you would have to get rid of a lot of your original parts and swap almost an entire cobra engine into your gt. I think if you wanted you could just swap the intake manifold from the cobra.
