Ok, we are trying to put together a camping/fishing/hiking trip to Lake Lurleen State Park
During the week of Monday, March 27th to Sunday, April 2nd. The plan is to camp at a waterfront camp site for the week, hiking one day, fishing another, and then the rest, just drinkin, chillin, and having a good time with friends. We are looking to try and take 6 people total, which will bring the cost to roughly $45 per person for camping and the day of fishing.
If you come on the trip, you pay for fishing, whether you want to go or not, its just easier that way. If you are fishing, you will need to bring your own gear, and need to be licesensed. If you need more info on the license, visit the fishing section
Meals during the week will be idealy brought and prepared on site, however, we can figure out what everyone else wants to do once we have the set people.
Idealy, we will want to get to the Park as early as possible on Monday to guarantee we get what site we want, since the reservation does not reserve a specific campsite. Obviously not everyone will be able to get there early, so we may send 1 or 2 down to get the site and set up the tent and such, but that can be all finalized later.
I think that about covers it, if you have any questions, check out the State Park site on the link or post it in this thread. The price is just an estimate, I will contact the park soon and see if I can get a more exact number. Sign up fast.
Payment will guarantee your spot on the list. First 6 with the money in are the 6 to go.* If you are interested and are absolutely sure you can go and are ready to pay, contact Brent or me for payment info. Please, only send in your payment if you are sure you can go, as the payment will be non-refundable, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Again, it is just easier this way.
*If all 6 spots fill up, and you still want to go, let me know and I will get you pointed in the direction for you to set up your own reservations and such.
