Is there anyone form the Atlanta/Birmingham area going. If so do those from this end of the states plan to drive over to Jackson as well? Tupelo is only about 4 hours from ATL Jackson is about another 2 from ATL.

There is a guy in svtoa coming from the atlanta metro area...I don't know how to meet up with him however.

Anyone that gets into town on fri night just post up, my wife and I will be there and we know of plenty of places to hang out.

Good deal. That's possibly 7 cars from here going now. I'm waiting on confirmation from 2 people to confirm it is 7...with a month and a half left to try and recruit some others.

Re: Tupelo Mustang Cruise - March 13th

Well as of this past weekend, Gordon will probably not make it anymore now due to personal probems and a probem we uncovered on his car early Saturday morning. I am still go, but this week is a transisition for me to switch from nights to days-this is my last week working nights- and I'll be out of town the majority of this month due to work and a promotion. Will check in as time goes on.

Several. 04TRV6 and her sig other are in for sure...Gabe is still in...Gordon is out.

We have 6 cars confirmed going now with a month and a half to get more interested in going.

Other than that, no, no updates. As for the gathering to discuss the itinerary, we need to pick a date. Obviously it can't be sunday. Friday night I think is good for me...Saturday possibly.

Most likely it would be in BR...however we can work around your pool schedule and make it a saturday. It all depends on who's free when really. But we will let you know well in advance this time for the gathering.

I'm headed over Saturday morning from ATL and should be in TUP about 9-10am that morning. I'm staying overnight Saturday at the Comfort Inn there. Anyone know if it's any good ? Delta had a good promo with sky miles on it.

This is the one you registered at right?

Tupelo Hotels - Tupelo MS Clarion Inn Hotel - Tupelo MS Hotels

Also, did you have to pay up front or just give your info and card number?

If there is a better choice I am all game, just wanted to get something booked for now. There are hotels closer, Hilton is across the street started to book there.

Hey everyone I am so excited to see you guys pulling this together! The Clarion is just a couple blocks from the Museum and is much cheaper than the Hilton too. I also have a friend around Baton Rouge that is coming up. I will point her to this thread and perhaps she can get in on this trip.

That is the one I booked, just had to give card for reservation. Also you would need to call direct for discount, tried online and there was not much available.

Hey Rick,
That Cobra still looking as fine as ever? Justin is interested in taking this trip, so I guess I'm going to look into it. I'm not sure if I want to take his car on that long of a trip, but I'll think about it. It's going to come down to funds. We're leaving next Sat. for a week long cruise, and then my big trip to Bowling Green is at the end of April. But I'm going to see what we can come up with. Not sure if I'm going to take my car if we go. But I guess that depends if ya'll don't mind a Chevy tagging along?

Re: Tupelo Mustang Cruise - March 13th

Well, our group is going to be in tupelo saturday night. It's looking like we may end up in Jackson friday night. So, if you go friday and meet up with brad, then 2 nights. If you go saturday, then 1 night. If you go before friday or stay past sunday, then you'll need more nights.
