Well lets see, all I gotta do is.... hop in the car with Brent and go... BTW, I don't think I have actually washed the jeep since I took my wife on our first date. I didn't even wash it for the wedding and it was our getaway vehicle.

Car is together and on the ground. Looks promising. Just needs cleaning tomorrow.

Re: Tupelo Mustang Cruise - March 13th

We had our annual dyno day up here and made sure to get everyone excited from our area for next weekend. Looking like a good group from up here coming down as usual, especially when I told them I have friends coming from baton rouge just for that weekend lol. Little guilt never hurt anyone.

Re: Tupelo Mustang Cruise - March 13th

Hey guys! Thanks to a recent generous commitment from our sponsors we are now able to open up the Show and Shine portion of the event for FREE! For those of you who paid for the event already you will receive a refund for the cost of the show and shine. Also we have adjusted the handling fees to include $1 per banquet ticket purchased. So if you purchase one ticket you will be charged $1 handling fee. If you purchase 2 tickets you will be charged $2, etc.

The total amount refunded will include your show and shine fees and the applicable portion of the handling fees! If you paid via paypal you will recieve a refund for the appropriate amount. If you paid by check you will be reimbursed at the event. Just come and see me!

If you have not registered we would appreciate it if you would still do so. This will help us in our coordination for the event. Please register even if you are just coming to the show and shine. The registration form is located here -> Tupelo Cruise Registration Form

Once again thanks to our sponsors for coming through and making this event one that is affordable for all attendees!

We look forward to seeing everyone at the event and hope this is a great experience for all!

Sincerely
John Farmer
Tupelo Cruise Coordinator

UPDATE ON EVENING FESTIVITIES
Things continue to get better for the evening event!

While people have to preregister for the food we are opening the doors to anyone for a $5 fee to come in and join in the rest of the festivities (you just will not eat) which include:

5PM - Museum doors open for evening social event. This includes a live band, cash bar and social meet and greet with other mustang clubs as well as checking out all the cool cars in the museum!
6:30PM - We are unveiling a newly restored 69 mustang to its owner. The owner bought the car new in 69 while in Vietnam and the car has been in a barn the past 20-30 years. This will be the formal reveal of this car and presentation to the owner!
7PM - Dinner / continue with social hour
8PM - Guest speaker John Clor from Ford Performance followed by book signing
9PM - Conclusion of event!

I am very excited about the festivities and hope everyone enjoys the event!

Yes I do. Video and pictures

I would really like to have all the different groups document as much of their trip as possible. We will set up a group album where everyone will be able to contribute their digital media and this will be extremely helpful for next year or just for others to share their experience!

Thanks!

So can we pay the 5 dollars at the door or do we pay now through the site somewhere?

Re: Tupelo Mustang Cruise - March 13th

i feel so behind on things. still not done with clay plus i have to wax. still have the rear brake pads & calipers to do & polish my rims... engine bay and interior are done... gonna be a long week. then again maybe staying busy will make the time seem to go by faster so tupelo will be here sooner =)

i think i have too many vehicles.. they all seem to need something done at the same time. my truck needed some major maintenance so i could put it on the road this week while my car sits.

Hey Lynn, any word on progress with your car? I know you just dropped if off, but, any ETA on it's readiness yet?

Lol, I've had to change plans on what cars to bring. The 90 needs a battery and rear tires before going anywhere so we'll be in the cobra and GT. Bronco backed up the driveway under it's own power tonight which is an accomplishment. Still DDing the Cobra so hopefully saturday morning will be nice for a quick detail session.

In other words, alcohol will need to be stored in your reserves: aka bladder, stomache, breath, kindneys, bloodstream, etc in a high concentration before entering the museum

In the museum, probably, but there is a cash bar for the whole dinner thingy which I believe is at the museum as well. It's in the parking lot at the show where alcohol is not allowed....at least that's what I believe Nate was getting at. It makes sense since it is a car related event...you wouldn't really want everyone in the parking lot getting tanked. lol
