I'm thinking cruising won't be a problem for me... as long as my shift doesn't hit that weekend in the plant

Weather wasn't bad at all....was cloudy in the Am and a little cool, then around 2 it cleared up and the sun came out.

And the rain all washed off everyone's car...so it was all good. A lot of people candy assed out due to the weather...which was actually better than it was last year where there were a lot more people there.

Had you been parked with the walker crew, it would have. I'm willing to bet there were not many more votes for cars than the sum of their group. None of their cars were all that, and certainly not better than the 2 old school machs or the dark red classic in our row, yet they won both best of show awards? Yeah, that's not obvious. lol Hell, Rick's car was a ton more interesting than their stock looking GT's and Mach 1.

Well yea, they were the only ones to turn in votes. Atleast BR got the longest distance traveled trophy!

You know I was talking to a guy yesterday with a GT about the model year of your car with an AOD transmission and he already got a 5 speed for it.

It's nice as long as they don't put a 350 in a Ford. I won't even bother looking at a car if I know they done that.

lol, I probably wouldnt have came with the weather regardless but that wasn't the reason I didnt get to come... I had family in town for spring break and couldnt make it as well as having to deal with getting the final details on flooring that we are having put in our house my car did get rained on this weekend either way though.

They show fine for me, on the iPhone app I do have to click each one to show the image.

Yup, I never figured baton rouge would be the furthest...but the walker crew jumped all over the question about who was the furthest away...then the kid that was all excited looked very dejected when I said baton rouge.

The evolution part of it is the whole weekend. However the show may be stretched into two days now as well. Not sure if SaleenCockFiend mentioned that at all or not.

FIFY....
We make a weekend out of the trip b/w us guys. Yes, it may be stretched into a two day show next year. Although, I would like to get some of us all together in a nice central location such as Jackson, MS or somewhere to meet up and chill in a cabin by the reservoir or something then we can all cruise up the Trace together... it's soo beautiful.
