Re: Mustang Club in KS

The only requirement for membership is that you own a Mustang. Age doesn't matter. We have meetings every two weeks on Saturdays, normally at 6:00, at various places. Most of the members belong to facebook and we have a private page there, Fort Riley Mustang Club. If you are interested, you can either do a search on facebook for "The Fort Riley Mustang Club." and request access, or if you make me a facebook "friend" I can give you access to the page. If you wish to befriend me, my name is John Beavers, and I live in Chapman...

We like to have members come to as many meetings as possible, but probably could make some concessions, considering the distance away that you live...

It's a closed page, you need to be allowed access... Send me a facebook friend request and I will allow you access. At least one guy(who wasn't a friend) I know did a search and found it; he still needed permission to see it, but he was able to send me a request.

I gave you my name and city two posts back... Just send me a friend request...

Here's a link to pictures from our meetings...

Fort Riley Mustang Club Meeting

We had our semimonthly Mustang club meeting on the north end of Milford Lake, we cruised from Junction City to Wakefield which is about 25 miles. We parked in a high parking lot of a restaurant which I believe is currently called Mom's Diner(formerly Lakeview Restaurant) had an informal meeting in the diner, ate, and hung out in the parking lot. A local guy with a new Shelby heard us come into town and found us at the diner, and has joined the club... This is our second Shelby GT500... Another member was showing off his Whipple supercharger in his 2002 GT...

The other Shelby GT 500...
