I see on here some places that are close knit communities of mustang owners, but honestly i have never even gotten a wave or nod from another stang driver around here haha. Actually, my neighbor has a yellow GT and i've only actually seen him like 3 times. Whats wrong with us Illinoisians?!

Well let's find a mutual location and see if we can get a date and place to set something up, like a burger joint or something

I get waves and nods from time to time but there's always those ******bags that think their car is better and don't even acknowledge you. I don't care what mustang you drive I will wave haha. I have some friends with mustangs but for the most part most of the buddies I know have evos, Stis or Hondas.

Yeah my mustang isnt the prettiest, it's had a rough life from previous owners. :[ looks like someone swiped something on the right side now its starting to rust, and on the left theres a golf ball sized rust spot that the guy tried to bond-o and failed. But as soon as i get the time and know how, my stang will be a real beauty once more!

Yeah haha, i only know the kid i bought it from as one of the owners but i think im the 5th. I was so excited about buying the car that I never noticed the body damage haha. But i doubt thats too hard to fix, its just a matter of money. Regardless, i love my car. I doubt i'll love my first born as much as i love this car.

It doesn't matter what the car looks like , we all try to do what we can within our means, but just to get out and see all the other ones and models and what others have done to theirs is pretty cool

Yeah I usually get a thumbs up or wave and the unwanted attention when you come home late at night or early am and everyone is in bed and you try to be quiet but my stang just isnt the quiet one, that's when I don't like the people looking out their windows

And as for that meet, we'd need to find a mid point for everyone haha. It seems like everyones pretty scattered.

Algonquin, elk grove, palatine, adison, arlington Heights, schaumburg, rolling meadows, hoffmen estates, woodstock, greys lake, mundelien. Just a few suggestions, I dont know if anyone lives near any of those cities/towns.
