I'm in Capitola, around 3 hours from sacramento. You should meet up with us on August 5th for the Autocross in Marina. Even if you dont feel like competing, it will be a great opportunity to meet some other mustang enthusiasts. If you check the calendar you will find all the info for the Autocross including directions. But no pressure.

Yes, I am 100% going still. I got the day off from work and permission from my wife! I don't get many opportunities to get out much since we had our baby so I'm super excited to do this! Sorry about you car though Venomous, I understand if you can't make it, but it looked like you only had some cosmetic damage which shouldn't affect your cars performance.

Wish I could but I have a lot of stuff to do to my car before I show or track her. As soon as the funds come up in the next few months then I will be ready to travel. But for now I am sticking around the sac area. Thank you for the info though.

As Venomous said, I'm definitely going and will be running in the Auto-x. I totally understand where everyone is coming from, the first Auto-x I ever attended I just spectated, I have actually never tracked my Bullitt, but I have run in my old STi. It is still fun even if you don't run. I finally think my suspension is set up properly to Auto-x, so I can't wait to get out there and rally the Bullitt.

One nice thing a out these auto-x's is that you get to walk the course before you run, so you have a good idea of what you're getting into before you run. Plus even experienced auto-xers kill a cone now and then.

You can pay there, but you need to bring cash. They don't take plastic or checks. I'm glad all of you can make it, it should be a fun day!

---------- Post added at 06:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:12 PM ----------

The morning will go like this, 7:00am gates open, 7:30am registration begins, then tech inspection takes place, 8:00-8:30 mandatory rookie walk around, at 8:40 drivers meeting take place, and 9:00am is when the first cars go out.

Oh, and it's $35 a car or $60 if two people drive the same car.

A good tip for anyone planning on running, is to fill you tires up to 40-42lbs in front to aid in front end stability. The rears don't need as much air though.

I would check all of your fluids before and hopefully your brakes have some life left, and tires are good. Of you have camber bolts or plates I would dial up some negative camber, 1.5-2.0 degrees of negative camber will greatly improve turn in.
