Got the car out of the shop!

...and i couldnt be happier with how it looks! Body shop did an amazing job on the fit and finish. At a killer price too. Now just to add the graphics and detail painting..and get my wheels back on from DTD. And put the rear window louvers on. Anyone notice how crappy the weather got suddenly down here?? I mean the DAY I got the car back! Never fails.. lol

Re: Got the car out of the shop!

the color was a MAJOR issue with me when buying it. Originally I wanted vista blue... but there are soo many of them..and I have the only grabber orange in the area so i decided to stick with it instead. Now it looks like were gonna end up with a vista blue gt anyways.. seems my father has hit a midlife crisis lol

Damn. What are you sporting under the hood to have that cowl? I assume it is the 4".

Re: Got the car out of the shop!

nothing done under the hood yet. Just wanted to get the show part of the car over with.. then start on the motor. Will probably be adding a stall converter to it soon though to kick off the performance mods

Isn't that the same body kit wkndpaintballr or whatever his name is got? His car looked a bit more transformerist...if that's a word.

Re: Got the car out of the shop!

hmmmm, I am not a fan of Grabber Orange...but that's because it replaced Screamin' Yellow, so I am a little biased, as I think the SY is a better color...

Looking good though, by my only suggestion would be for you to get an exhaust on that thing QUICK because those little tips coming out the back look awfully small and piddly...

that orange is growing on me, I still thing the orange along with the 04 cobra body style is one of the best orange combos to have.

Re: Got the car out of the shop!

waiting to hear from cherry bomb about my exhaust kit. Should have had it a week ago but they seem to have ran into some computer bugs. 2 1/2" off road X pipe, pro series mufflers and 3" tips.

Oh and as fas as the screaming yellow goes.. I had a 05 in that color with the 4" cowl hood before I bought the 03 cobra. It is a nice color but I had SO many problems with the car!
