My bro is pretty hesitant to go, but I think I've got him to check it out if the weather is nice out. We probably won't leave till 11, or noon.

No stripes for me...I don't think it looks good on metallic colours! My taste might change in a few years though

It really depends on the colour. The 13's need stripes IMO they have that bolder front end. And white especially is a colour that needs the stripes to fill it out. I've seen quite a few white s197s....none with stripes yet...def love them on white! And red too black stripes on red is hot.

Took the old stripes off that were wrinkled bad only to find the trufiber hood has stress cracks in the front.
Mines Colorado red so looking at black super snake stripe.
Cheaper then getting a new hood.

Do you think the stripes causes the cracks? I'm nuts about my paint I spend so much time keeping a good coat of wax and doing all the necessary detailing especially during winter storage. Having stripes on for a few years I am sure will cause issues. Im good with my clean look on the kona blue red....black super snake stripes ftw

Doubt it.. I don't think the stripes would do it. And yea i agree the white looked beast plain but the stripes added style to it.

Was the stripe on or added. Some installers stretch and put tension on the hood. I can put them on without stretching

I'm almost homesick. I've been away for way to long. I miss winter, here in tn there is no snow, just the crappy cold, an not even real cold, just crappy. I can't wait to be back at home in Oshawa.

No the stripes didn't cause it, I think someone was pushing on the raised ram air to close the hood. Or someone sat on it.

Looks like they didn't smooth out the soap and water they used to apply them. When I removed the stripes wherever there was a wrinkle there was what looked like a line of white dry soap.
