Home Depot is a great company to work for, so I hear. A lot of opportunities for advancement as well.

Well I will be attending my first true mustang week with my GT I got about a month ago!

Only upside is I do live in Myrtle Beach, SC. From all the events and different places the events are being held the furthest trip will be to Hooters on Thursday I think it is, which is about a 20 minute drive. So lucky I live here!

If anyone needs any info on hotels, night life, things to do, etc let me know!

And I do agree! we should have a forum meet up somewhere once mustang week starts! It will be a blast!

I don't like putt-putt enough to visit Myrtle Beach more than once every so often. I can't imagine what hell it would be to live there. I don't think there is another place in the world whose economy is 95% driven by knocking little balls around.

haha

It's not that full of putt-putt! there's more to the beach than that, and sometimes it is hell to live here. Traffic, tourists, slow Sunday drivers who cause the wrecks themselves. after growing up here only to move away for college I moved back this year being a junior and I actually missed the beach.

There is plenty to do and keep entertained while here! I am just glad I get to go home every night and save that money instead of staying in a hotel

Putt putt and surf shops! I go to myrtle beach once a month. There are a few other things. Barefoot landing, broadway at the boardwalk, tanner outlets, the aquarium, Ripley's.....but there is a very large amount of putt putt places and surf shops. It is a tourist town after all. I just remembered, there is a really cool car museum just up 54 I think it is, just before conway.

I think you might be thinking of Wheels of Yesteryear off 501. Thats the only one I can think of around myrtle beach/conway.

Oh, yes. As Project Pony pointed out, I forgot about the surf shops

That sounds about right. They've got some really nice cars. I actually almost bougt a model mustang signed by carol shelby, but didnt really want to spent 400.00 on it......now I really wish I had seeing as he wont be signing anything else.

I have seen that one there, it was awesome. There were a few that they had that went quick when carol was getting sick. the museum is still really cool to go to though!

If I am home by then I will be thier the whole week. My B-Day is the 21st so it will be a little early bday for me, but I am not sure if I will be back in the states by then. If not I am going to try and get someone to bring my cars up becasue I have them getting some work done for mustang week. I hate not to be home to complete the work myself, but if I want to make it the week with a few custom upgrades I may have to outsourse becasue I will be most likely cutting it short to getting in town.

Hey Guys, I'm the reservations manager for a very large oceanfront property in Myrtle Beach, and I'm affiliated with 12 more properties on the Grand Strand. Let me know if anyone needs help finding accommodations. My hotels aren't the cheapest because they're beachfront and it's July, but I can get you better than published rates, if anyone is interested.
