Yeah, those are awesome tires...not really made for DD. Have you considered a spare set of rear tires and wheels? I mean you can have your normal DD tires and wheels. Then on the weekend change to your sticky tires...just a thought.

Vortec S/C or On3 TT kit

Brembos would be nice, but I don't need them for what I am doing...

Thanks for the welcomes. It came from the dealership with 19 inch wheels and 3.73's. I bought the Raxiom Navigation and installed axle-backs. That is about it so far. I was looking into a tuner, but I am worried about voiding my warranty, so I held off on that for now.

Lucky! Got the 3.73s from dealership. Those should be enough to hold you off until the warranty expires. But a tuner would definitely put a little pep in your stangs step.

Talk to your dealership...Some will not void warranties over Steeda Tunes because they are the same tunes they sell in the Steeda cars that dealers sell. It really depends on the dealer. I had a dealer one time tell me to go get a tuner to correct my problem, said they would cover it under warranty.
Anyway, those are some awesome mods you have so far....Look forward to meeting you one of these nights we meet up....

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I asked my dealer, and the Performance Manager said that if I bought a tune from them it would not void the warranty. He wanted 700 bucks for the FRPP. Which from american muscle it is only 350. I almost bought it, but I was a little worried on how he could make a claim that it wouldn't modify my existing warranty.

Do I only need to get something in writing from the dealership when I do this, or is that not enough when it comes to warranty claims?

I am looking forward to some upcoming meetings. I will follow the thread to stay up to date.

Yeah, honestly I wasn't even looking for a Mustang when looking for a car. I just graduated from college and moved 600 miles to get her, so I was looking for something more practical. I couldn't turn down 8500 in dealer rebates on a car that only had 5 miles, though.

Yeah, people meet up all the time. Some of us are in clubs and some are just clicks of friends that meet up in Katy on the weekends. There is always something car related in Houston. Where do you live? I am in Conroe, some of the guys are in Katy some are in Spring, we are all over the place...mostly meet in Katy on the Weekend.

No, I would not buy a tune from a dealer for $700.00, they are just going to buy the tune from somewhere like Bama or Steeda and sell it to you for double the cost. Don't be loyal to dealerships, they will rob you blind. Go to several Ford Dealers in the area and ask there maintenance managers.

Oh awesome, I live in the Galleria area, but I am sometimes all over. I will be in Katy for a week for some training in March.

Yeah, I thought the price was rediculous. Thanks for the heads up, I will definitely ask around. Do you have any recommendations for someone putting stripes on my car? I have a black GT and I want matte black stripes, but I haven't found anyone in the area yet who seems to have a good reputation for that sort of thing.

I don't know anyone in the Galleria area... I would do a google search for places that do Vinyl wraps in your area...Spider Wraps is the company around where I live.
Spider Wraps Vehicle, Boat, Motorcycle Wraps
