I hope it don't rain on the ride. That's all it's done here.

I need to drop my car 1.5".

Isn't the 17th or 18th the alternate rain day for the event being hosted by American Muscle?

I put this event on the M. E. event calendar. It is on the 18th. As of now we don't have a rain date.

Mine needs lowering too. Not sure if I can get it done by then, but I had no problem the last time we did the triangle.

cut your springs...1.25 coils off the front and 1 coil off the back. loved how my GT handled with that setup. great weight transfer

I know this is crazy but if I lower it, will I have to get an alignment? Anything else?

to be honest you should because you'll be taking the struts loose. however i never have on any of my mustangs. it just comes down to if you believe the toe is really out of alignment. luckily mine never is so i don't have any grip issue. however if i owned your car...i'd spend the extra $50 or so for the alignment.

Lol. Now I'm looking at brands. Eibach or ford racing? The ford racing are only only goes 1.25 all the way around. There are 2 eibach that start out lower than that. The eibach sportline goes 1.7 front and 2.2 rear. The eibach pro-kit goes 1.5 and 1.7. The sportline is red. I wish we could choose color lol.

What do y'all think? There's ehhh when it comes to low and then there's LOW! What do u think?

---------- Post added at 01:37 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:36 AM ----------

Ok, maybe I should start a thread even tho it's been beat to death. I've already high jacked the thread lol. Sorry Allan.

you will get many opinions , so here's mine ,go progressive if you don't want the head bob bump bump every time you hit a bump or dip in the road ( just watch the ricer kids drive on a rough road) lowering will eat struts quickly, especially cutting springs , there are struts designed for this just add $$. I claim no expertise in this matter so check with the pros.
