Have u not seen it BoB? They sell the section cup, the whole kitten kaboodle. The waterproof camera and all of it. I can't remember how much it is right off. It's nowhere near GoPro price tho.

Nope I've never seen it. I'll look it up when I get home. I only gave $336 for a new hero 3 black though. I could sell it for more than that.

So if I run eight and a half hours (500 miles one way) down there to do this what is a good hotel in Oak Ridge to stay at for two nights that I don't have to worry about my car being out in the dark.

If any of the out of town folks are coming in on Saturday we can get together Saturday evening and go out to dinner if you all want.

Honestly that would be a good group size for a ride like this. Plus you always have a lot of ppl that say they are coming that aren't. No offense but that's just how it is. I went to a bike meet one time that 150+ ppl said they were coming and like 20-25 ppl showed.

I understand that not everyone will show....but also last time this thread was only like 3 or 4 pages long. And if my count is correct there's only about 15 people or so saying they are going (so far) so I figure we'll have at least as good a turn out as last time...if not double...

Me and the wife went to the last one...she's hopefully starting a new job soon so we're working on going this time and maybe doing a few upgrades before we go

500 miles is a long way for a 3 hour tour, I would stay 2 or 3 days at least, if you are not familiar with east tn . look up our tourism website ( like you wouldn't know to do that. lol) I would stay in Knoxville or toward the mountains, ( pigeon forge or Gatlinburg both tourist towns but have lots to do, including outlet malls ) there are several good drives all around the area, the cherohala skyway ( was built for no other purpose but scenic byway) and of course the world famous dragon. ( do not do the dragon on weekends , but do it just to say u did) Knoxville has a very good zoo and the basket ball hall of fame . casinos at only a couple hours away in Cherokee NC . this is by no means all we offer , just a sample .something for everyone.

Thanks. If I make it I will be arriving on Saturday and leaving really early Monday morning. I have a class to teach on Tuesday so I have to be back. I am looking at ways to make this happen ya never know with me. Right now I am in Seattle and will towing my 68 coupe home next week when I leave with the grand kids and daughter. I will mark my colander and see what I can do.

Thinking of going. Saturday would have been more ideal but I may go visit family that weekend and try to make a trip out of it. If not Its 2 1/2 hour trip "ish" from the boro. I may see if a few buddies will go from the Chattanooga area too.
