On a cool Autumn or Spring day, 89A between Sedona and Flagstaff is a beautiful drive. Another nice route is SR 87 between Payson and Flagstaff.

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of beauty around Phoenix, which is why I moved to Idaho!

I don't go out cruising but if I did I'd probably try the twisties on the 238 between Maricopa and Gila Bend since that's kind of close to me..

The section of 17 heading towards Flagstaff is really twisty. I am ouy in Surprise. I headed to Jerome on 89a southe few weeks ago and the road heading up to the top was awesome. Head out and keep going onbthe same road... Woah.. twisty like i have never seen it. Awesome ride. I am from NJ and have driven many cliffside paths before but this was hairpin for 15 miles. I mean left right left without any straights for more than a few hundred feet at the most, many just left fight left etc for miles without a straight. Arm workout for sure. 89A is the road. Jerome is a cool little ghost town too.

Been dead for a while in here but if anyone has any cruises planned for the coming weekends, I'd love to tag along.

I'm at 51st Ave and Baseline. Sometimes clubs put together little day trips, hit the highways and have some fun...I've not done that in a while.

Stang up fam knows about a lot of meet ups...maybe Matt will stick his head in here. Off the top of my head there is the Cruise on Central that happens twice a year...just Google that. There is also the pavilions where one night a month is mustang night although I do not recall which night it is, I've never been up there.

Yea I heard about the pavilion one. My car is stock with clear coat problems but I'd like to participate in a cruise or a meet.

btw, have you thought about getting your car dipped or painted if you're having issues with the clear coat. Make it look brand new again lol.

Yeah, it takes place in April and October every year. Huge car show and anything cool on wheels cruises up and down Central, like 2000 cars, right off park central mall.
