Auto's have a 3.15 rear gear as far as I know there is no other option with the auto. That 3.15 with a 4.17 first gear gives it an overall ratio very close to a m6 with 3.73's

The first 3 gears in the 6r80 trans are really steep so there is no need for a tall gear in the rear end. Have read some guys going with 4.10's in the autos but that is mainly race cars. The way that the gear ratios work out in the first 3 gears putting 3.31's in a 6r80 car would be the same a running a gear ratio into the 5's with a c4. Now you do have 3 more gears to get the rpm down to a point where the car is drive able on the hwy but with a gear change in the auto traction is a major issue

I was just curious, cause I think I'm over 3.5K RPM's at around 10 MPH in 1st gear, which, the way I drive, I'm not in 1st gear long. Usually I'm in 5th and 6th, I like to keep RPM's slightly over 1K on the city, around 2K highway.

My 03 auto with 3.27 stock gears will be right at 6200 when it shifts out of low at some where between 55 and 60mph. And boys I have a whopping 260hp at the fly wheel. Ritflmao

High rpm lean on bank one. I really don't think it is. It only happens when I hit high rpm's. If I go back to stock air intake it does not do it. It only started when I went to the cai . I checked all connections and there are no leaks.

The only thing I really dislike about working my 12 hour rotating schedule is I'm only off 2 weekends a month so it makes it hard to do much of anything on the weekend. Now during the week that's a different story lol

got a tuner but it has a dyno tune on it now for the stroker i dropped in it. I just need to get in touch with my shop and ive been trying for 3months to get in touch with them. Ive tried phone and email and got nothin im thinking bout changing tuning shops but its one of the best in NC theyve had a few cars in King Of The Street and built alot of cars ground up for people and been featured in 5.0 and Muscle Mustang. So i dont really want to change
