Oh great! I hope part of that process is to go to one of the curviest roads in the country on the day after installation.

Most of the time you do increments. 20 mph the gently stop. 40 mph and stop. And you just keep getting the pad to adhere to the rotors. Just periodically keep gently pressing the brake pedal. That's how I broke my old ones in but they would cover my wheels in like a week full of dust....

That's the way these factory ones are. I get soooooo sick of cleaning wheels. Every time u go to leave the driveway. Lol. I hope these pads are not like that.

Where is the best place to seed them in? Like unless you have track you can't really get up to 40 right away then come to a stop

Just like a highway? Pretty much you just need to be gentle at first

Yes sir! I got them from hypermotiveperformance.com

They were cheaper than AM or anybody else. That guy is awesome! Said he had a lot more parts than are listed and people could use the contact us to get more info and prices. AWESOME place!

Well I said F it and am dropping my car off at the dealership today. P219a ,p0420. P300 have all went off now. Data logging has helped and so did the o2 sensor but it's really ticking me off now. It may be bad fuel injectors. I guess i will see if they will fix it without voiding my warranty. I don't care if they void it as long as they can fix it. The 300 was a misfire code and they are all somewhat related so I'm thinking the common denominator is the fuel injectors now.
I am now iffy for the ride unless they can quick fix it.

That and I'm about to Piss away the 8k I've dropped and just say lesson leaned and get the 5.0 I probably should have gotten anyways.

Thanks guys. I am getting so excited about Saturday. Not just the ride but seeing friends and meeting new ones.
That is why I like putting these rides together, is to meet more friends that love mustangs as much as I do.

---------- Post added at 09:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:03 PM ----------

Guys you should listen to 2stang on the brake pads, I have seen the difference since he switched almost no dust.

But how does the stopping power compare?

They will throw you through the windshield.
They are what I will put on my mustang when I need replace them, but they might be what is on it because I don't get a lot of brake dust now.

What about after a few heat cycles. I know I'm asking a lot of questions but the HPS pads are suppose to be a great DD/occasional track pad

Should be good I think. It runs smooth on the stock tune and since it didn't throw a cel like usual the dealer said it drive around. Until it comes back on. They are pretty mod friendly and didn't mind anything I've done. But they can't do anything much since the idle is fine until the CEL comes back on.

So if nothing comes back on ill have to get with Bama and start back from scratch with the tunes.

Downside: mods and car are semi useless without a tune even though it will run fine. 😕
